Jewish Life

Due to Victorian Government restrictions, synagogue services are currently not being offered. However, we are currently reviewing the recommencement of these services. Rest assured, we understand the important need for residents to have access to dedicated pastoral care and hope to reinstate services soon. Once resumed, services will be available for residents only. We also hope to welcome back our external Emmy community in the near future, once restrictions ease further across the State

Jewish life is a vital part of Emmy Monash. Residents enjoy a warm, heimish, Jewish environment with a strong emphasis on belonging and family.

Jewish identity, traditions and values are central to our holistic approach to care at Emmy.  The importance of Jewish festivals and life cycle events, ensure the vibrancy of Jewish life continues every day.

Traditions and Jewish festivals are observed in meaningful ways, with families invited to join their loved ones on Rosh Hashanah and Pesach for family meals.
