Apartments – EMA

Modern, spacious and basked in natural light, Emmy Monash fully refurbished, modern apartments are designed for style and comfort. EMA apartment life is best defined by the strong friendships and support apartment residents share with one another. They’ll tell you it was one of the best decisions they have made.

Apartment residents have complete independence with the comfort of on-call nursing and care staff, and a priority for consideration of a placement in residential aged care, should their needs change.

All one and two-bedroom apartments include:

  • Balcony or bay views
  • Ensuite bathrooms and built-in robes
  • Open-plan kitchen with stainless steel appliances
  • Hydronic heating and reverse-cycle air conditioning
  • IPTV monitors and Wifi
  • Nurse-call buttons in each room

Unique features

Close to all community amenities, including Glenferrie Road shops, cafes, doctors, synagogues and public transport, our facilities also feature:

  • State-of-art security system
  • Lift access and limited underground car parking
  • Communal entertaining and dining spaces
  • Landscaped courtyards
  • Café, hairdresser and synagogue on site

Apartment Lifestyle

Apartment residents enjoy a diverse, dynamic range of lifestyle activities.

The monthly Wellness Menu offers something for everyone, including two evening activities which are facilitated by the residents themselves. Residents are actively involved in its development, providing feedback at monthly resident meetings and suggestions for new programs.

The program also attracts participation from the wider community and includes residents’ spouses, those on our waiting list and volunteers. Some interested Emmy residents may also participate.

We provide nourishment for the mind, body and soul.

We celebrate all the chagim (Festivals) with high-calibre guest speakers providing inspiration.

Significant secular events including Australia Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Anzac Day are marked with special book readings and / or guest speakers, often in Gandel House, with other community members.

Please contact the Placements Co-Ordinator to discuss your individual requirements and EMA availability.
