An exciting new sculpting program created in partnership with the Duldig Studio was recently launched at Emmy Monash.  Eva De Jong Duldig, studio founder and patron, and daughter of the prolific sculptor Karl Duldig, provided an insight into the life and works of Karl. Duldig Studio’s Director John Petersen presented some sculptures and invited residents of all abilities to participate.

The 14 week program aims to provide a forum for creative expression through clay sculpture where participants will be able to develop skills, express ideas, feelings and memories by tapping into their creative self. Duldig Studio’s Sculptor in Residence, Stefan Damschke, will be leading the program  and will be assisted by Emmy volunteer and  ceramic artist, Debbie Weinmann.

This program has been made possible with the support of Gandel Philanthopy and will commence with a visit by Emmy residents to the Duldig Studio Museum and Sculpture Garden.
