Gandel House for Emmy Monash
In front of a prominent crowd of 150 Emmy Monash supporters, Jack Gringlas OAM, Capital Appeal Chairman, announced that in recognition of the support by John Gandel AO and Pauline Gandel (patron of Emmy Monash) “the Board of Emmy Monash have decided that the new Hawthorn Road building shall be known as Gandel House in perpetuity.”
This major philanthropic donation to Emmy Monash Aged Care, will significantly help shape the new facilities planned for the Hawthorn Road site.
The announcement was made at the Capital Appeal Launch at Mossgreen Gallery. The event included guest speakers Maree McCabe, CEO of Alzheimers Australia (Vic) and Greg Evans, Director of Hypatia Consulting, and community supporter, Fay Joske was the MC. Both speakers highlighted Emmy Monash’s focus on positive ageing and providing ground-breaking programs to residents, while maintaining close partnerships with industry leaders.
