A recent audit by the City of Glen Eira Public Health and Community Development Unit resulted in an impressive result of 100% for compliance with food safety standards.

Emmy Monash Aged Care was presented with a 5 star certificate in recognition of this achievement.

The City of Glen Eira auditor was so impressed with the management system and the quality of catering services that she spoke personally to staff, congratulating them on the high standard attained.

“We have policies and procedures in place to ensure we maintain the safest environment to provide our residents with the freshest food,” says Catering Manager, Cynthia Tait.  “This result is a testament to the continuous diligence of our staff.”

Emmy Monash was also compliant with the food safety program set out by independent auditor, Food Hygiene Australia, meeting all standards and requirements. The Food Hygiene auditor acknowledged the catering staff’s sound knowledge of food safety, their excellent record keeping and cleanliness.

Both Auditors praised the high level of achievement in providing quality food and catering standards consistently.

CEO of Emmy Monash, Tanya Abramzon congratulated Cynthia and her hard working team for once again achieving excellent results in the food safety assessment audits.

“Achieving full marks is a wonderful result and would not have been possible without the dedication  of the whole catering team.”
